Olly and Siddhant were sitting together in their classroom, waiting for their English teacher, Mrs. Radha, who was running late. The room was filled with chatter, and Siddhant, who had a reputation for being naughty, sat quietly.
Feeling hungry, Olly took an orange from his bag and slowly peeled it, savoring the sweet smell. Then, he offered a piece to Siddhant, noticing the cut on his friend's chin that he had gotten while playing football a few days ago.
As they enjoyed their snack, Siddhant pointed to Raghav, sitting two rows ahead, immersed in a book.
"What is he up to?"
Before he knew it, Olly threw a piece of orange peel at Raghav.
However, just as the peel was midair, their English teacher, Mrs. Radha, walked in, wearing a green saree and smiling. Her expression quickly changed when she saw the peel land on Sharmila's head, who was seated next to Raghav. The room fell silent.
Mrs. Radha demanded to know who had thrown the peel and looked in the direction it came from. She immediately suspected Siddhant and instructed him to stand up. Olly thought for a few moments. He knew it was his fault and nervously stood up.
"Sorry, Mam, it wasn't him. It was me," he admitted.
Mrs. Radha's face softened, and she walked over to Olly, patting him on the back. "I'm proud of you for taking responsibility. Well done," she said.
Olly beamed with happiness, relieved.
